Speaking of culture, be sure to check out the CREED section of our careers page: Pallet Validator / Dock Coordinator -$500 SIGN ON BONUS!Roles and Responsibilities: The most critical function of this position is to ensure that every order is shipped out with correct quantities and correct product being loaded onto the correct carrier's truck. This includes all corresponding paperwork required for both international and domestic shipments.
  • This position will be heavily involved with coordinating and communicating with Crescent Warehouse Logistics.
  • Pallet Validator will on occasion be required to compile shipment paperwork packet which includes: Packing Slip, Bill of Lading, and other Customer specific documentation.
  • Auditing and rebuilding pallets when necessary.
  • Printing pallet labels, flagging outbound shipments, designating load with carrier assigned
  • Visually verifying what is on each pallet and showing pallet labels to camera system clearly.
  • Filling out the Load Verification Sheet and turning paperwork into Logistics Coordinator after shipment has been tendered to carrier.
  • Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator may be asked to help in other areas of the warehouse when needed by management. This includes assisting Specialty Pack, E-Comm, Logistics Manager/Coordinator or other duties as seen fit by Warehouse Management.
  • Staging and loading outbound shipments.
  • Updating iPad Shipping area map with correct locations of each pallet.
  • Point person on recycling duties of paper and cardboard waste
This position requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy on every order. After 30 days of training, all liabilities and errors will be squarely placed on the Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator. Accountability, attendance, accuracy, dependability, along with positive and clear communication skills are paramount in this position. The Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator is the last line of defense that the company relies on to safeguard those shipments, no matter how large or small they are shipped out correctly to prevent financial penalties in the form of chargebacks. It is the Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator's number one priority that every order leaves here correctly and completely.
