Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour, with opportunity to increase to $18.00/hour based on performance and successful completion of training.
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and has basic computer and scanning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Scan and track inventory using handheld devices
- Perform basic computer tasks related to shipping and logistics
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and proper documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with scanning equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail
