$26.60 - $27.95 / hour, depending on experience and qualification

1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:20 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

Job Summary
- Operate yard dog and tractor-trailer
- Stage trailers at the loading dock
- Shuttle trailers to the truck garage for repairs
- Shuttle loaded trailers back to trailer lot
- Maintain trailers for other departments
- Operate lift truck to replenish pick lanes and load and unload trailers as needed
- Perform a variety of lift truck assignments to support shipping operation
- Communicate effectively with primary customers
- Accurately document inventory of trailers, cardboard and case quantities
- Manually move cardboard and cases to designated areas
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Experience docking trailers
- Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
- Ability to work with computers (data entry)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Ability to work independently and in a cohesive team environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Accuracy and timeliness in handling paperwork
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Y.T.O. (Yard Tractor Operator) and L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license
- DMV Record must be obtained by the Safety Department
- Lift Truck vision screen must be completed by Employee Health Services and must meet Lift Truck standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Current McKee Foods L.T.O. license
- Previous lift truck and/or shipping experience
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Knowledge and experience working with OPM11i and (WMS) Warehouse Management System
