We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Lead / Class A Shipping Associate for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on working lead position. The person will be responsible for daily shipping duties while also helping manage and coordinate the work of three shipping employees and working closely with the office team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day shipping and receiving activities.
- Lead and coordinate the daily workload of three shipping employees.
- Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipping paperwork, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
- Work closely with the office team regarding orders, scheduling, and shipping priorities.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
- Use computer systems to enter and track shipping information.
- Keep the shipping area organized and running efficiently.
- Help resolve shipping issues and make sure orders go out on time.
- Work hands-on with the team as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience required.
- Lead, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with shipping/inventory systems.
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with both warehouse and office employees.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
