Shipping Lead Compensation and Hours:
- $17 - $23 depending on experience
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Overtime as needed
Shipping Lead Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience required
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or distribution operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to motivate and support a team while leading by example
Shipping Lead Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of shipping associates to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Coordinate daily shipping activities and prioritize workloads to ensure on-time deliveries
- Verify orders for accuracy and ensure shipments meet customer requirements
- Monitor workflow and assist team members as needed to maintain productivity
- Communicate with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with shipping documentation
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Train and mentor team members on processes, procedures, and safety standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material movement when necessary
