Shipping Material Handler - 1st Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Shipping Material Handler to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for moving, organizing, staging, and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily shipping deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull, sort, and stage products for outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload materials and finished products.
• Verify product information and order quantities for accuracy.
• Palletize, shrink-wrap, and prepare shipments for transportation.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Pack and label customer orders accurately.
• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to meet daily deadlines.
• Assist with general warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and RF scanners is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
