Shipping Material Handler - 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Shipping Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role supports the shipping department by ensuring orders are accurately staged, packed, and loaded while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Pull, sort, and stage products for outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload materials and finished goods.
- Verify order quantities and product information for accuracy.
- Palletize, wrap, and prepare shipments for transport.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with packing and labeling customer orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Work closely with shipping and production teams to meet daily deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience with pallet jacks and RF scanners is a plus.
