Their primary role involves loading and unloading shipments, sorting, and organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Material handlers use various equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and quickly. They play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling orders, and supporting the overall logistics and supply chain operations of a business.Key Responsibilities:Handle in-plant materialsWrapping and banding freightPick up and deliver raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areasSuccessfully complete forklift certification programLabel and prepare packages for shipmentAdditional related duties as requiredQualifications:Basic computer skillsEffective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speakingExperience working in shipping/receiving/warehouseAble to work in a fast paced environmentEnsure FIFO is followed for all transactionsAble to continuously stand, walk, and ability to lift up to 50 poundsWhy Work with Us?We offer competitive pay and an outstanding benefits package.We invest in our people, offering opportunities for career growth and development.
