We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Operations Coordinator to join our 1st shift logistics team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate movement of materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility while supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.
Job Description:
Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders
Pull stock and perform detailed inventory counts
Receive incoming inventory, raw materials, and non-inventory items
Transfer inventory within the system and confirm receipts
Put away inventory and route materials to the proper departments
Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Operate under minimal supervision and assist in decision-making when the Logistics Lead is unavailable
Create and maintain documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
Support Shipping, Receiving, and Distribution Center operations as needed
Assist with training and cross-functional logistics duties as directed by management
Communicate operational issues effectively with the Distribution Manager
Maintain quality control and follow all company safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations
Forklift operation experience
Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
