Shipping Order Builder Position Overview This position helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the shipping department. The position assigns jobs to the loaders as needed. An employee in this position will work with production managers and supervisors on getting jobs completed on time to ship out. They will also be in direct contact with logistics and customer service on what orders need loaded for weekly routes. Division: LogisticsLocation: Eldon, MOShift: Mon-Fri, 6am to 2:30pmDepartment: ShippingReports to: Shipping SupervisorJob Type: Full-timeFLSA: Non-ExemptDate: 10/2/2026 Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrint the Loads Out paperworkWork with logistics on getting preloads completed on timeGo through the back log to get all pass due jobs out and completeComply with safety and housekeeping standardsVerify loaders work safely and follow all standard operating proceduresPrompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.Confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.Communicate through email, prepare reports and work schedules.Review and analyze data and information.Plan, prioritize and monitor shipping activities.Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner. Supervisory ResponsibilityNo direct management or supervisory responsibilities. SafetyObserve safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment); report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work overtime may be required as job duties demand.
