Detail Oriented, English Language, Equipment Maintenance/Repair, Forklift, Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Loading Dock, Mathematics, Mobile Devices, Order Picking/Packing, Organizational Skills, Pallet Jack, Quality Metrics, Radio Frequency, Safety/Work Safety
Two shifts are available. First shift hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Second shift hours are Monday-Thursday 2:00 pm to 12:30 am.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Locate products using hand-held RF devices
- Utilize multiple types of powered industrial vehicles to retrieve items quickly and efficiently according to pick ticket
- Build pallets with orders and position them in appropriate loading dock area
- Securely wrap orders and mark with identifying information per customer requirements
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor
- Adhere to safety policies and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Three to six months related experience preferred
- Able to read and write in English
- Basic mathematic competency
- Able to lift up to 50-pound boxes frequently
- Good physical strength and stamina with the ability to stand/walk for majority of shift
- Lift truck experience preferred and must be lift driver certified or be able to pass certification test
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Must be able to work overtime when required
