The Shipping & Packaging Coordinator supports daily warehouse and manufacturing operations with a primary focus on packaging, shipping, and material handling activities. The role is responsible for ensuring products, tools, and components are packaged accurately, safely, and according to customer and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Package tools, components, and finished products for customer shipments.
  • Review and follow detailed packaging specifications, visual aids, and written work instructions.
  • Pick, stage, kit, and prepare materials for shipping and production activities.
  • Verify shipment contents, labels, and packaging materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and technicians on special packaging requirements.
  • Inspect packaging quality and ensure consistency across all shipments.
  • Document non-standard packaging situations and report issues as needed.
  • Maintain shipping documentation and inventory records.
  • Assist with receiving, material handling, and warehouse organization.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Required Experience
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in shipping, packaging, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
