Shipping & Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift | St. Louis, MO
The Gund Company is hiring a Shipping & Packaging Specialist to join our team! If you're detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work,and want to grow with a company that values teamwork and employee development, this is the role for you.
Shift: 2nd (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Pay: Starting at $20/hour + 15% shift premium
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to customer specifications
- Review work orders, packing slips, and shipment details for accuracy
- Build boxes, crates, or skids using hand tools and equipment
- Operate forklift (if certified) and assist with loading/unloading trucks
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety standards
- Participate in cross-training to learn additional processes
What We're Looking For:- Experience in shipping, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
