Shipping Pickers

Job Summary:

Responsible for picking and staging orders for shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
• Knowledge and familiarity with using an RF Scanner.
• Ability to read and understand the RF unit and scanning product and location barcodes.
• Ability to accurately pick items that are identified on the RF unit and double check that the item is picked correctly.
• Ability to pick and stack boxes on pallets and stage the pallet using the RF Scanner.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, stoop, bend and work with hands/ arms frequently.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to use an RF Scanner.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to wrap pallets efficiently.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions required for this position.
