Shipping/Receiving Associate - 1st Shift
Pro Resources has partnered with a local outdoor fireplace manufacturer, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Associate to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for organizing, pulling, packaging, and preparing items for shipment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Hours:
8:00am – 4:30pm M-F
*Hours can vary based on needs*
Pay:
$18 to start, but may increase with performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, organize, and prepare items for outgoing shipments
- Package materials using shrink wrap and banding equipment
- Weigh shipments using industrial scales and verify shipping details
- Ensure shipments are properly labeled and secured
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification required
- Prior shipping or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to operate shrink wrap and banding equipment
- Comfortable using scales and handling shipping documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Standing and walking for extended periods
