Rate of Pay:
This is a Full-Time Support Staff position at grade 9, with an annual salary range of $34,966 to $40,285. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:
Receive all incoming shipments, route packages for delivery and keep records of incoming and outbound shipments. Operate basic equipment in the processing and maintenance of shipments.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
One year previous shipping/receiving experience.
Basic computer skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software applications.
Knowledge of internet commerce and personal computers including order processing from receipt of order to shipment.

Essential Duties:
Receive inbound shipments; verify shipments against authorized purchase orders. Identify and report any damage and/or discrepancies to management.
Record outgoing shipment data, including weight, shipping charges, etc.
Examine outbound shipments to ensure each shipment meets specifications for the rate it is being shipped.
Distribute/stock packages and supplies in a timely manner.
Make deliveries as required.
Review, prioritize and process internet orders received through the ECC Bookstore website.
Manage and maintain the technical contents and accuracy of the ECC Bookstore website.
Other Duties:
May provide back-up to other department personnel, as necessary.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned which pertain to the job description.
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.

Heavy (up to 100 lbs occasionally or 50 lbs frequently or 25 lbs constantly)
