Shipping & Receiving Associate

1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Ansonia, CT

We're looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a busy manufacturing team in Ansonia, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping materials organized and moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Stage materials for production and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Enter shipping and receiving information into the computer system.
• Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
• Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
• Ability to read shipping documents and packing slips.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
