Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse AssociateLocation: Columbus, OH

Pay: $20/hr
We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for coordinating daily shipments, receiving raw materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and safely loading and unloading materials.Forklift experience is a bonus, but not required. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do- Confirm sales orders are accurate and ready for daily shipments
- Prepare shipping labels in accordance with DOT requirements
- Generate bills of lading using an ERP computer system
- Process shipments ranging from small orders to full truckloads
- Receive and unload trucks safely using a forklift
- Enter incoming raw materials into the ERP system
- Verify weights, part numbers, lot numbers, and manufacturing dates
- Assign and label materials for proper storage locations
- Pull samples for customer shipments and laboratory certification
- Perform inventory reconciliation and cycle counts
- Repackage materials from larger containers into smaller containers when needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and material records
- Follow all plant safety rules and report potential hazards
- Participate in ongoing safety improvements and training
- Assist with additional warehouse/manufacturing responsibilities as needed
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Technical manufacturing experience, particularly in a chemical manufacturing environment, is a plus
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn an ERP system
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs. frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable and safety-minded
- Forklift certification/experience is a bonus, but not required
- Must be willing to complete required DOT and IATA certification training
