SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a large, well-known client in Burleson, TX.  As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner according to client expectations.   The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, moving, locating, relocating, and shipping merchandise. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! 
 All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.  Available shifts include 7:30am-4:30pm.  Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.   Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator: 
  • Work the shipping counter to respond, pull, and confirm emailed orders in a professional manner.
    • Follow all procedures of shipping and receiving while following safety requirements.
    • Unload/load trucks and trailers using a forklift.
    • Operate manlifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts to pick and put up inventory.
    • Effectively process paperwork of incoming/outgoing products or orders to be labeled appropriately to be stored/staged
    later.
    • Review inbound and outbound shipment to verify items and quantities before taking delivery or shipping order(s). Will
    make notation of discrepancies or revisions.
    • Prepare orders for customer pick up, or to be shipped best via UPS, FedEx, Freight or truckload services while ensuring
    accuracy of the shipment and associated documents.
    • Handle stocking and restocking of items in proper bin locations in warehouse.
    • Help identify and resolve issues related to shipping and receiving.
    • Utilize spreadsheets and ERP system to verify physical inventory, item location, quantity, and history as required.
    • Operate and inspect material handling equipment in a safe manner.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
 Required Qualifications of the Forklift Operator: 
  • Must have previous experience operating a forklift.  
  • At least one-year experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with FedEx and UPS
  • High attention to detail and safety/compliance
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
