Shipping & Receiving Clerk – 1st Shift
Location: Lafayette, GA
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a leading rope manufacturing company in Lafayette, GA. In this role, you'll help ensure raw materials and finished rope products are received, organized, and shipped accurately while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and supplies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare rope products for shipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (preferred).
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
