Essential Functions: • Assists with printing labels as needed for inventory according to customer requirements. • Pulls material from inventory and prepares material for shipment using FIFO. • Engage in shipping activities as assembling, checking and crating and weighing, loading and securing of shipments. • Examines material shipped, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damage, unmarked, or part approvals • Notify carriers and arrange for carrier pick ups • May requisition shipping supplies • Maintain records of shipments. • Have ability to cooperate and work well with other team members to accomplish necessary tasks in a timely, efficient manner • May be asked to perform other jobs to meet customer and supervisor demand • May be asked to work overtime • Create master labels for shipments as required • Enter transaction in the current ERP system. • Carry at all times their personal protective equipment (PPE). • Process UPS/FedEx shipments. • Maintains packing instructions • Train employees as required to perform tasks to meet customer requirements • Unload trucks delivering incoming material Educational Requirements: High school diploma/GED Experience/Knowledge/Skills: • Forklift Certified • Microsoft Office |
