PBNA $26.70 / hour Scope of PositionThis position will report directly to the Distribution Center Front Line Leader. This position is responsible for taking the leadership role in coordination of distribution activities utilizing the Warehouse Management System. Areas of focus include learning and using the computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) when planning, allocating and troubleshooting orders and palletizer put away operations. The Warehouse Technician 3 (GUI) role is a fast paced job that requires multi-tasking, skill with a PC, and a high level of comfort dealing with multiple personality types. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES Experience with radio-frequency warehouse management systems (WMS) Must perform duties consistently with minimum supervision Must be able to work in a team-based environment. Strong communications skills to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers/resources (Spanish is helpful). Attention to detail is critical. Able to demonstrate good mathematical aptitude. Strong people skills Self-motivated Ability to direct others Ability to give clear and concise instructions Must be multi-task oriented Must be computer literate DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Check in all inbound loads Check out all outbound loads Maintain drop yard / Maintain Security log Check all trailers and seals for trailer entering and leaving the property Communicate trailer needs to hostler and transportation coordinator Allocate work for forklift operators Troubleshoot order allocation failures Communicate allocation failures to ICS, and/or coaches when you can not identify and correct the issue Investigate inbound/outbound discrepancies Provide necessary placards to forklift operators for military, LTL and international orders Fax loaded drop orders to the appropriate carriers on each shift Ensure adherence to line load schedule Monitor dock doors to ensure maximum utilization of all resources Monitor dock doors for possible detention and inform coaches with issues Actively support team concepts through TPM participation: AM Team leader/member FI Team participation HSE Pillar support / PM team support All other duties assigned by coach, manager or as business needs change Provide spending reports to manager by specific categories.
