Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Forklift

• $20 per hour
• 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm)
• Monday-Friday

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Forklift experience to join our warehouse team. This position is ideal for someone who has strong forklift and shipping experience and is comfortable taking on additional responsibility when needed.

The right candidate will support daily shipping and warehouse operations and serve as a backup to the Shipping Supervisor during absences, vacations, or other times when additional coverage is needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments
• Verify orders, quantities, and shipping documentation for accuracy
• Assist with receiving and inventory as needed
• Maintain organized shipping and warehouse areas
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse employees, and other departments
• Help coordinate daily shipping activities
• Serve as backup for the Shipping Supervisor when needed
• Assist with prioritizing shipments and keeping workflow on schedule
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
• Experience with shipping paperwork and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
• Strong communication skills
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be willing and able to step into a leadership/support role when the Shipping Supervisor is unavailable
