Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $26-$30/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:15am - 3:45pm
Description of Position:
Do you have Shipping and Receiving experience with Forklift Operation? We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to support the handling of inbound and outbound aerospace materials for a short term assignment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance for high-value aerospace components. If you are organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working with documentation and forklifts, this could be a great fit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive raw materials and finished goods
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare aerospace components for shipment
- Serve as the final quality checkpoint before shipment release
- Perform cycle counts and track inventory movements
- Follow strict aerospace safety and quality standards
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Benicia, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous shipping and receiving experience in a detail-driven environment
- Forklift experience (sit-down; certification provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail accuracy is critical in this role
- Comfortable using computers, ERP/WWS systems, and basic math
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and time-management skills
