Shipping & Receiving Clerk I Non-Exempt A pre-employment background check is required for all final candidates. Position Summary: This person will be responsible for efficiently and accurately pulling and preparing shipments for outgoing orders. They will also be responsible for performing shelf stocking operations throughout the manufacturing and warehouse facility. Other duties include loading trucks, processing orders in UPS/FedEx software and ensuring all the correct shipment documentation is filed. General warehouse organization and cleaning.
Core duties include: - Receive all products that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received
- Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner
- Maintain shipping logs
- Stock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in
- Operate forklift truck when necessary
- Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
- Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
- Enhanced duties include:
- Follow established practices in compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent level of combined education and experience.
- 6 months to 1 of year of work experience in warehousing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Proven team player with a can-do attitude able to work with minimal supervision once fully trained.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with others.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to complete tasks that are assigned.
- Thrives working in a small, innovative team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Requires moderately strenuous physical activity at a sustained level over the course of a shift.
Require ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis using assistive devices for moving materials greater than 50 pounds.
Static Strength for lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying required.
Trunk Strength using the lower back and stomach required.
Multilimbed Coordination using arms and/or legs together while sitting, standing, or lying down required.

The compensation range posted includes base hourly pay plus our quarterly profit-sharing.
