• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)
• Pay Rate: $21.00 $24.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday Friday

Job Summary

The key purpose of this function is to package product as per prescribed methods and/or to eliminate damage to product while in transit, and to process documentation utilizing internal systems along with Electronic Data Interchange Systems supplied by various carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and packages products as per prescribed methods, verifying content against shipping and packaging documentation.
• Disassemble and package Bone Densitometer Systems in accordance with shipping assembly instructions.
• Assists in maintaining packaging supply levels through inventory process.
• Processes customer orders utilizing carrier supplied systems and in-house systems.
• Provides assistance to other departments in order to meet company goal objectives.
• Uses and maintains tools and equipment associated with position.
• Job training and cross-training of less experienced or new employees is provided.
• Ensures availability of all material through processing and expediting.
• Actively supports and adheres to the Quality System, ISO 13485 certification, and GMPs. Participates in the continuous improvement of quality through Quality System.

Required Skills

• Warehouse management system experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience operating power equipment (including pallet jack)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Must be able to operate a pallet jack
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Role involves picking, packing, shipping orders, and operation of power equipment
• Work performed in a team-based warehouse/manufacturing environment
• FDA-regulated medical device environment; adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) required
