Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Pay rate: $25/hr.
The Shipping and Receiving Administrative Support role provides administrative and clerical support to the shipping and receiving department in a mid-sized aerospace manufacturing company. This position assists with documentation, shipment tracking, data entry, and coordination between warehouse staff, carriers, and internal departments to ensure materials and products are received and shipped accurately and on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the shipping and receiving team, including data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.
- · Prepare and maintain shipping documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and receiving reports.
- · Enter shipment and receiving information into the company’s ERP/MRP or warehouse management system.
- · Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- · Track shipments and update internal teams on delivery status or delays.
- · Assist with verifying incoming shipment documentation and matching paperwork to received materials.
- · Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- · Support inventory and traceability documentation required under aerospace quality standards such as AS9100.
- · Assist with filing, organizing shipping records, and preparing reports for management.
- · Communicate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams regarding shipment schedules and documentation.

- Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and warehouse procedures.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and compliance requirements related to AS9100.
- Experience working with freight carriers and logistics providers.
**Experience working in or supporting aerospace or manufacturing organizations is highly desired**
