Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (Weekends required during peak season)
  • 6:55 AM – 3:30 PM (Up to 12-hour shifts during peak season)
  • Job Term: Temp to Hire

Position Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by assisting with shipping, receiving, order processing, and departmental organization. This role requires strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and flexibility to support multiple areas within the department.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate departmental records
  • Process and prepare small parcel shipments
  • Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch
  • Communicate with customers via email regarding shipping updates and inquiries
  • Ensure work orders and system records are updated accurately
  • Provide backup support for team members during absences or peak periods
  • Support overall department workflow and assist in various operational areas
  • Cross-train and assist within the receiving department as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in all department functions
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends during peak season
