Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Department Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping parts while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting the Parts and Service Departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Stock parts and accessories in assigned warehouse locations.
• Pull, stage, and distribute parts for technicians, customers, and internal departments.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other shipping methods.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control and annual inventories.
• Process returns, warranty parts, and core returns.
• Notify staff when special-order parts arrive.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist at the parts counter and provide excellent customer service when needed.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Shipping and receiving or warehouse experience.
• Automotive, truck, equipment, or dealership parts experience.
• Inventory control experience.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Experience with inventory or dealership management software.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Tuesday through Saturday
• Overtime as needed

Pay: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00 to $25.00 DOQ.
