Job Summary We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire shipping & receiving process, including recording orders, labeling packages, and packing containers. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming orders and check paperwork as required
Pay attention to detail, make sure the correct item is being received.
Make sure items get to the appropriate destination
This could be a pending order or on the shelf for inventory
Prepare orders for shipping / delivery
Mark SunnySide Pick List with appropriate information.
Pull items from stock for orders
Help organize pending orders waiting to be completed
Take embroidered items and place in appropriate locations typically with other item on open orders
Help load trucks with deliveries for the day.
Stock shelves with incoming products
Housekeeping – cleanup of boxes, trash etc. in warehouse
Operate forklift to unload and load trucks as needed
Prepare orders to be shipped via UPS using Worldship or equivalent program
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
High school diploma/GED
Basic math and computer skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
