Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $18.00-$20.00+/hour, depending on qualifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM plus overtime on a common basis
Job Type: Full-Time
Overtime: Available as needed, including early starts, late stays, and occasional Saturdays

Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Must-Have Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License
• Acceptable driving record
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing documentation
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support the accurate and timely movement of materials, parts, and finished goods.

This position will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare shipping documentation, maintain inventory records, package materials, and coordinate material movement with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and other departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming materials and goods
• Record incoming and outgoing shipments in the company's inventory system
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other paperwork
• Package parts and materials for shipment
• Verify part numbers, quantities, identification, and required documentation
• Perform part marking and identification according to drawings, work instructions, and customer requirements
• Ensure product markings are accurate, legible, and traceable
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Coordinate shipping and material needs with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and other departments
• Deliver parts or materials using a company vehicle when assigned and authorized
• Operate a forklift when trained and authorized
• Report shipping, receiving, inventory, or material-flow issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete additional duties as assigned
