The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Walker region seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process all outbound shipments, including labeling, packaging, and creating shipping documentation.
  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, components, and finished goods, verifying against purchase orders.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient material flow.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and purchasing departments to ensure timely movement of materials and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping logs, receiving reports, and other documentation as required.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing
  • Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting shipments and receipts
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
