Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing packages.
- Must have the ability to process International Shipments.
- Inventory control.
- Capable of processing shipments through UPS, Fed Ex & DHL.
- Load and unload trucks.
- The ability to create shippers and process outgoing shipments.
- Put away inventory daily in their proper locations.
- Place incoming materials for systems in the appropriate job carts.
- Turn in all the shippers and packing slips to Accounting at the end of each shift or the beginning of the following business day.
- Order crib supplies through various vendors using the company's software.
- Schedule incoming and outgoing freight on an as-needed basis.
- Processing shipments in a timely fashion.
- High level of quality and consistency.
- Strong computer skills.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Forklift/crane license experience and/or certification.
- Able to interface well with internal personnel at various levels.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet challenging goals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks may be required
- Must have manual dexterity
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear safety glasses and safety boots
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, and perform moderate lifting.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, traveling to and from the job site
