Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

Inbound Logistics & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments, verify documentation against physical counts, and ensure accurate receiving records.Outbound Logistics & Dispatch: Coordinate, schedule, and order trucks and rail cars for outgoing shipments. Prepare all necessary shipping manifests and paperwork.Quality & Accuracy Verification: Ensure all customer-specific shipping requirements are fulfilled. Maintain outbound photo logs and documentation to verify order correctness.Rail Fleet & Demurrage Management: Monitor rail car movement and document/track demurrage reasons to optimize logistics efficiency.Yard & Documentation Flow: Consolidate paperwork from the yard, promptly enter data into internal systems, and distribute records to the appropriate personnel.Safety Leadership: Actively participate in and support the facility's safety culture, following all plant protocols and procedures.Team Support: Perform other related logistics and administrative duties as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations (experience with rail shipments/demurrage is a strong plus).Attention to Detail: Proven track record of high accuracy in inventory counts, shipping paperwork, and data entry.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with drivers, yard crews, carriers, and office staff.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing inventory/shipping management software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and digital logs.Safety-First Mindset: Commitment to working safely in an active manufacturing and yard environment.
