Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Aerospace Manufacturing Facility)Location: 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281Shift: Full time, day shift (Monday - Thursday)Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, all employees must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.Receiving Responsibilities:Receiving all inbound materials, supplies, and productsAssist with loading/unloading delivery vehiclesCoordination of daily tasks for shipping and receivingCreate MOTsPull and deliver material to machines for processingPull and deliver all details/inserts required for job ordersKeep inventory location/records accurate and up-to-dateShipping & Material Handling Responsibilities:Assists OSP with shipping when carrier services are involvedMaintains finished goods inventory - weekly cycle countingCoordinates/communicates with Quality and Production departments on daily needsAssists with WIP movement updatesCommunicates updates to customers as required (end of day ship list and tracking detail)Attends morning production meetingUnderstands and uses major carrier services according to their cost and capabilityPackages parts for shipment or inventoryVerifies and adheres to customer delivery requirementsBasic Qualifications:Authorized to work in the US18 yrs or olderAbility to work full timeHigh School Diploma or equivalentMUST have reliable transportation to get to and from workOther experience that includes:ERP/MRP system experienceLogistics knowledge (FedEx, UPS, Freight Services)Forklift Certification preferredRequired Qualifications:High attention to detailIntermediate computer skills preferredMulti-taskingTeam PlayerPhysical Requirements:Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walkingRequires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearingRequires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulationsRequires bending, squatting, reachingRequires the ability to lift 40-50lbs occasionally and 25-30 lbs frequentlyTeam oriented company with top paying wages and benefits in the valley in regards to the Aerospace Industry.
