The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for checking-in, checking-out, and coordinating the overall loading of customers' trucks using bills of landing (BOLs) for shipments. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining constant contact with customers, dispatch and sales via email and telephone regarding orders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive (check-in) customer trucks.

  • File bills of lading (BOLs).

  • Match and verify customer purchase orders.

  • Dispatch trucks to proper loadout station or area.

  • Ensure customers are loaded with correct order and proper sand grade.

  • Record the weights (check-in weight and check-out weight) of each truck upon check-out.

  • Clear (check-out) trucks once loaded.

  • Monitor silo inventories and schedule trucks accordingly based on silo levels, as it pertains to proper Production Planning.

  • Responsible for all relevant data entry via Excel or similar software.

  • Ensure proper scheduling in accordance with company standards and processes.

  • Work closely with Lab/Loadout regarding coordination of orders, loading trucks and processing BOLs for shipments.

  • Create/run End-of-Day (EOD) Reports.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1 year experience in a coordinator, specialist, or similar role responsible for data entry and accuracy.

  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, or similar software required.

  • 1 year experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, using both written and spoken forms of communication.

  • Basic computer processing skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty; strives for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.

  • Ability to sit, stand, reach and squat, and climb.

  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.

  • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds .

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
