Shipping & Receiving / Driver

Motive Workforce is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Driver to support an advanced manufacturing operation in Long Beach serving the aerospace, defense, aviation, and industrial sectors.

This position will handle daily shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory support, and local transportation activities. The role is responsible for accurately receiving, packaging, documenting, storing, and transporting materials and high-value aerospace and defense components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on shipping and receiving experience, strong attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing environment where material traceability, quality, and safety are important.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Inspect, package, label, stage, and document incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify part numbers, purchase orders, shipping documents, and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability.
• Safely operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
• Load, unload, and secure materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Handle high-value aerospace and defense components with care.
• Communicate delivery schedules, delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Maintain compliance with established safety, quality, AS9100, and ITAR requirements.
• Provide daily status updates and support process improvement initiatives.
