Position Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator for a frozen meat distribution center. This role requires someone who is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment.
Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33407
Industry: Frozen Meat Distribution Center
Schedule: Monday to Friday, including weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $19+ per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift (sit-down, stand-up, and/or pallet jack) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks accurately
- Receive shipments and verify quantities and product condition
- Prepare, stage, and organize orders for shipping
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Follow all safety, GMP, and food handling procedures
- Work in cold/freezer conditions (32°F / 0°C or below)
Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED (must be able to communicate clearly in both)
- Previous shipping & receiving experience REQUIRED
- Forklift experience REQUIRED (certification preferred)
- Experience in warehouse or food distribution is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Basic computer or RF scanner experience is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
