Be the connection between production and customers, ensuring every product is received, tracked, and delivered with accuracy and care.
What You'll Do
Keep products moving by receiving, inspecting, verifying, and processing incoming materials, components, and finished goods.
Prepare customer orders for shipment by staging, labeling, loading, and coordinating outbound deliveries, including FedEx and UPS shipments.
Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying part numbers, quantities, weights, measurements, and completing system transactions within Spacesaver's ERP (IFS) system.
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment to support efficient warehouse and production operations.
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, damage, shortages, returns, and RMA transactions while maintaining accurate documentation.
Support operational excellence through inventory control, shipping supply management, and adherence to standard work processes and 5S principles.
Collaborate across departments to meet production schedules, support changing business needs, and achieve department performance goals.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting issues, and helping maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of Spacesaver's Baseline Assessment.
One to three years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, or material handling environments preferred.
Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes, with the ability to obtain and maintain Spacesaver Fork Truck and Overhead Crane certifications.
Proficiency with computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and utilize Spacesaver's ERP system.
Ability to accurately interpret part numbers, inventory records, shipping documents, and work instructions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Strong mathematical and measurement skills, including the ability to perform weight calculations and effectively use tape measures, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment.
Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required for operation of company vehicles.
