Shipping & Receiving

Our client in NW Grand Rapids is seeking a Shipping & Receiving professional to join their dedicated team. As a Shipping & Receiving team member, you will be an essential part of the operations department, supporting the efficient movement of goods and ensuring smooth daily logistics activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $17/hr.

Shift: 1st 

What's the Job?

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Inspect and verify shipments for damages or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies during all logistics activities

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if applicable)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
