Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Control

Hire Up Staffing has Partnered with a Local Modesto Warehouse in need of a Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Control Specialist for their Office! 

Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm 
$19/hr. 
Temp to Hire position. 


Position Description:
Maintaining accurate records of inventory. This includes handling of all paperwork. Verification of all received and shipped product and ensures that the inventory movements are accounted for in the company’s warehouse management inventory software program.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Reconciles inventories to records and makes adjustments when necessary
• Scheduling various pickups and deliveries
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program
• Assist with accounts receivable invoicing
• Answering phone calls
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports- previous experience preferred.
• Computer use
• Dependable attendance
• Hard worker and team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment
• High organization skills and ability to multi-task/prioritize
