HireLevel is seeking a Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator in Fenton, MO!


Our client is a family-owned industrial electrical and automation company that has been serving customers since 1976. They specialize in industrial automation, motor control, power distribution, and custom-engineered control assemblies. 


The Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping processes efficient and the warehouse operating smoothly.


Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Location: Fenton, MO
 Schedule:
Monday – Friday from 9a - 5p | On-Site
Salary: $23/hr.

Responsibilities of Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator:

  • Receive, inspect, verify, label, and store incoming materials while identifying and communicating discrepancies 
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying products, quantities, and shipping documentation 
  • Complete shipping paperwork and obtain shipping rate quotes to ensure accurate and cost-effective deliveries 
  • Load and unload trucks while safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and system updates 
  • Organize warehouse inventory locations and assist with stocking and replenishment activities 
  • Utilize scanners, ERP/WMS systems, and inventory software to maintain accurate records 
  • Identify inventory shortages, discrepancies, and safety concerns and communicate issues to management 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
  • Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed


Requirements for Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator:

  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or distribution 
  • Some college coursework or an associate degree preferred 
  • Experience using inventory systems, scanners, ERP/WMS software, or similar technology 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus (training provided by company) 
  • Ability to pass forklift operating and written safety testing 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday 
  • Ability to use hands for handling materials, tools, and equipment 
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly 
  • Comfortable using common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors 
  • Must have the ability to perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
