Shipping/Receiving - 1st Shift

Location: 130 East 1st Ave. Junction City, OR 97448

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00AM-4:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Unload, move, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare and package products for shipment according to company and customer specifications.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain clean, safe, and orderly shipping and receiving areas.
• Assist with inventory control activities and stock replenishment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory-related work preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and purchase orders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in warehouse and shipping environments with varying temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping carriers and freight procedures.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and industrial setting.
• May require overtime, flexible scheduling, or occasional weekend work based on business needs.
