    Description

    Summary/Objective

    The Shipping, Receiving, & Materials Technician is responsible for performing all daily onsite warehouse operations. This includes receiving, shipping, stocking, and inventory control of production material, chemical reagents, MRO items, equipment, and consumable supplies for the unique processes including the production and shipping of radioactive products to customers. The Technician works closely with production personnel to coordinate logistics activities across multiple projects within the facility. This position is also responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant work environment in accordance with cGMP standards, while ensuring accurate, real-time inventory management and timely order fulfillment.

    Essential Functions

    Directly responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving activities of Radioisotopes, including but not limited to the following operational and technical aspects:

    • Manages the shipment and receipt of hazardous/nonhazardous materials and products
    • Collaborates and communicates with production staff and other service providers in the shipment and receipt of products
    • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Generates shipping documentation and labels, including all safety protocol measures
    • Maintains accurate records and labeling for receipt, storage, handling, distribution, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and documentation
    • Recognizes, communicates, and complies with different requirements of the various couriers
    • Maintains compliance with cGMP, safety and transport operations
    • Ensures components and raw materials are accurately documented, inventoried, and stored
    • Follows safe handling procedures for high volume, industrial scale loading dock
    • Assists internal customers at the warehouse door, complete proper paperwork, secure parts as needed, and input paperwork into the inventory system
    • Ensures all packages are inspected prior to acknowledging receipt/return from the carrier
    • Determines proper delivery location for GMP and non-GMP packages and ensure they are maintained in the appropriate storage conditions
    • Supports daily operations with the receiving, pick, pack, and shipping processes; initiate Purchasing Requisitions as needed to maintain target inventory levels; ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations throughout operations
    • Conducts inventory cycle counts according to specified frequency to ensure accurate inventory; investigate discrepancies, and incorporate corrective actions
    • Promptly reports identified issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management, and ensure accuracy where possible
    • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouses
    • Maintains a clean, neat, and audit-ready area
