Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities - Coordinate and oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition of goods. - Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation to meet shipping standards and requirements. - Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts using inventory management systems. - Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required. - Ensure proper storage and organization of goods within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility. - Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies. - Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock audits as needed. Qualifications & Requirements - Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including handling documentation such as invoices, packing slips, and bills of lading. - Proficiency in inventory management software or related systems. - Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification may be required depending on the workplace. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory records. - Basic computer skills for data entry and communication purposes. - Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as part of daily responsibilities. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders. - Willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies.
