Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join a growing manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and coordinating the movement of materials and finished goods.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving, warehouse or logistics operations, be comfortable working in an ERP system, and have excellent attention to detail. Forklift certification/license is required.
What You'll Do
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for the manufacturing facility
Work closely with the Production Supervisor to coordinate shipments around production schedules
Arrange inbound and outbound domestic shipments and transportation
Obtain shipping/freight quotes and select cost-effective transportation options
Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, including pick lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
Coordinate shipments with procurement and supply chain teams
Review freight invoices and verify charges against quoted rates
Address freight discrepancies, damages, and shipping claims
Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory information in the ERP system
Coordinate cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
Maintain accurate inventory records and help ensure materials are available when needed
Follow warehouse safety procedures and OSHA requirements
Support the overall organization and efficiency of the warehouse and shipping areas
All company-paid travel expenses for required training will be covered.
