Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Express is looking for experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist requires an energetic, service-oriented individual responsible for managing daily 
shipping operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and customers. This role supports the flow of orders from production completion through final delivery while 
maintaining compliance with company and customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience. 
• Proven track record of ability to work well with others to meet goals.
• Ability to learn custom operating software as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong foundational math skills: Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to convert 
  units of measurements (such as inches to feet). Proficient in using standard measurement tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to easily move and lift up to 50 lbs.
•  Ability to push and pull materials weighing 200–300 lbs with a pallet jack.
• Ability to work with wool based products

Responsibilities:  

• Receive all incoming raw materials and parcels documentation. Verify quality and quantity of materials.
• Review rugs and carpet rolls for shipment.
•  Source and issue all required documents for product release and shipment, including packing lists, 
  commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
•  Ship finished goods domestically and internationally. 
•  Handle daily inbound and outbound small parcel shipments. 
•  Ensure all items are accurately recorded and updated in the operating system. 
•  Coordinate with accounting and sales to follow up on collection of final payment for orders.
•  Pull, verify, and organize order files; confirm all shipping details and documentation; and record each order 
  for tracking while maintaining pending and completed files.
•  Cut materials per burn test requirements, maintain remaining material for follow‑up needs.
•  Maintain daily and weekly data reports: completion dates, invoices, shipping, etc.
•  Provide support for operations and administrative staff as needed. 
•  All other duties assigned.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced production environment. 
  
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or order processing preferred.

Schedule: 1st shift 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $22.00 / Hour
