Description

As a Shipping & Receiving team member at Ecopack USA Inc., you will be an integral part in the successful launch of our new facility in Tonawanda. You will be responsible for managing shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production needs, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP system, including receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions.
  • Preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders according to schedules and specifications, including all required shipping documentation.
  • Coordinating freight pickups and safely load/unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring proper labeling, storage, traceability, and inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and communicating shortages to Purchasing and Production.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse using 5S principles while optimizing material flow.
  • Supporting production by staging materials, supplying raw materials, returning finished goods to inventory, and assisting with material movements.
  • Communicating shipment status and inventory issues with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Operations.
  • Following all company safety, OSHA, quality, and food packaging requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
You are someone who has:
  • 3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating forklifts (or ability to become certified)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail

The compensation range for this position is $20 – $25/hour, commensurate with experience.
