Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a highly organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a busy industrial supplier in Tulsa. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and shipping a wide variety of industrial products while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently.

Because of the complexity of the product line, candidates with previous experience handling piping, flanges, and industrial materials are strongly preferred.
Required Experience & Skills
Direct experience with piping, flanges, or related industrial products strongly preferred
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience in a related industry highly desired
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
Ability to quickly learn and retain complex product information
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
Verify product specifications, quantities, and shipping documentation
Organize and maintain incoming and outgoing inventory in designated warehouse locations
Work closely with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure proper product handling and timely shipments
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other software for inventory tracking, communication, and documentation
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
Keep work areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial distribution or pipe, valve, and fitting (PVF) industries
Previous experience with inventory management systems
Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience
Knowledge of industrial material identification and product specifications
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and industrial environment
Work Environment
Industrial warehouse and distribution facility
Fast-paced environment supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer orders
Exposure to industrial materials, warehouse equipment, and shipping operations
Team-oriented workplace focused on safety, organization, and customer service
