Your Role:
In our Shipping/Receiving Warehouse position, you’ll play a vital role in helping us produce high-quality printed packaging. You’ll work closely with a all departments and operators to ensure smooth operations and top-notch results.
What you'll do:
- Work in a safe manner.
- Follow safety and food safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a work environment suitable for food packaging and meeting Safe Quality Food (SQF) Requirements.
- Utilize scheduled and unscheduled downtime to clean work areas, warehouse, equipment and eliminate clutter to improve safety and efficiencies.
- Complete required documentation for AIB/Product Safety.
- Support company Quality programs including AIB/Product Safety & ISO.
- Follow all procedures to accomplish job accurately.
- Assure tools and supplies used are food safe in appropriate areas.
- Be proactive in resolving quality issues and target internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Suggest ideas to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and cooperate with oncoming shifts to ensure limited disruption of production.
- Stage film in an efficient manner to sustain manufacturing and to maintain production schedules issued to the Warehouse.
- Accurate and timely Data Entry pertaining to raw film and finished goods.
- Follow all procedures for safe and careful handling of the Product.
- Operate a forklift and/or a roll grab truck in loading, unloading and storing materials and transporting to and from various production areas.
- Operating of computer terminal
- As time permits loading trucks with finished goods from lead packing is required.
What you Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with clamp and/or fork lifts
- Strong attention to detail and team-focused attitude
